A super-ionic behavior in such anti-fluorite-type alkaline oxides and sulfides, as well as in mixed O/S anti-fluorites and mixed fluorites, was studied by using molecular dynamics techniques. In every case, transitions to super-ionic phases were noted in which anions (O2-, S2-) maintained their normal lattice positions while smaller cations, such as Li+, flowed through them.
