A study was made of boundary dislocation structures and slip systems in pure metal which had been cold-rolled to a Von Mises strain of 0.41. The results showed that the great majority of dislocations in various types of dislocation boundary were from the primary and conjugate slip systems of the adjoining crystallites. This result was expected to serve as a basis for the integration of deformation structure observations with plastic deformation behavior.
