Cooperative effects were studied in the kinetics of bi-molecular, A + B  O, reactions between charged particles. Unlike the case of Debye-Hückel theory, the charge screening exhibited an essentially non-equilibrium nature. The reaction rate did not approach a steady state, but increased indefinitely in time with an asymmetrical mobility of the reactants.
