The migration of Ag in CdxHg1-xTe, where x was between 0.55 and 0.8, was investigated as a function of the Fermi level position and the Hg content. It was found that the Ag diffusivity increased with increasing Hg content and hole concentration. The results were explained in terms of Ag-Hg complex formation.
