The electron spin resonance spectra of paramagnetic Tl centers in -irradiated powder samples of Tl-doped nitrates were studied at 77K. It was found that Tl2+ centers formed due to -irradiation at 77K. In the case of RbNO3, 2 chemically inequivalent sites were observed at 77K. Both s- and p-type characteristics were predicted for Ti2+.
