Couples were heat-treated at between 900 and 1300C in order to deduce the temperature and compositional dependences of interdiffusion at the Ni-rich ends of these systems. The concentration profiles were determined by means of electron microprobe analysis. Values of the interdiffusion coefficients were also determined by using a modified form of the Boltzmann-Matano analysis. It was found that there was only a very weak concentration dependence of the interdiffusion coefficients.
