The 6-dimensional framework which had been developed by Stroh, in order to treat the elastic theory of dislocations in crystals, was here extended to a 12-dimensional formalism for quasicrystals. The elastic fields which were produced by a straight dislocation line in a quasicrystal was given in terms of integral representations which were expected to be suitable for numerical calculations.
