Austenitic alloys (8 to 16wt%Cr, 25wt%Ni) were investigated, during electron irradiation at 21K and subsequent isochronal annealing, by means of electrical resistivity measurements. It was found that the Frenkel-pair resistivities which were deduced from the damage rates were almost independent of the Cr content. The mobility of point defects was then estimated from the recovery behavior. This showed that self-interstitials became more mobile as the Cr concentration decreased, whereas the mobility of vacancies was insensitive to the composition.
