The bulk conductivity of acid polyhydrates with a clathrate structure was studied at temperatures of between 4 and 300K. It was found that protonated and deuterated acids exhibited essentially identical Arrhenius conductivity plots at temperatures between ambient and 125K. They differed at lower temperatures, and the deuterated compound exhibited a lower conductivity than the protonated one.
