Extended ½<110] extended dislocations were observed, in lamellae of 3at%Cr-alloyed material, by means of high-resolution electron microscopy. The equilibrium width and energy of complex stacking fault ribbons, which were bordered by two 1/6<121]-type partial dislocations, were measured. It was noted that the addition of Cr sharply decreased the complex stacking-fault energy.
