The present method was used as an alternative to Monte Carlo simulation, but lacked the use of artificial time steps. A 3-dimensional many-particle system was simulated in the canonical ensemble by using the Langevin approach. Long-range Coulomb interactions between particles were considered, and a quasi-periodic substrate potential was used to mimic the disordered lattice. It was found that a dispersive regime, of the form D = t-1, appeared at length scales which were of the order of the particle jumps. The thermal variations in the value of  exhibited a similar behavior to that seen in Monte Carlo simulations.
