The binding and transition energies of Do and D-, off-center in quantum wells in a magnetic field, were reported. It was found that a magnetic field could make the binding energy of off-center D- in such wells increase or decrease, and that a very strong magnetic field could dissociate D- into an electron and Do. On the basis of an analysis of the variation of Do and D- transition energies in a magnetic field, a method was proposed for the experimental examination of D- states in quantum wells.
