The O permeability of materials of the form, SrCo1-xMxO3-, where x ranged from 0 to 0.5, was studied at temperatures of between 950 and 1370K, under O partial pressures of 0.21 to 1000Pa. The highest O ionic conductivity (deduced from O permeation data) was found for SrCo1-xFexO3- solid solutions with x-values of 0.20 to 0.35 (table 21). The O ion transference number of substituted cobaltites did not exceed 0.05.
