An investigation was made, of Ag self-diffusion in single crystals (table 40), by using the serial sectioning technique. By comparing the ionic conductivity with the Einstein relationship, it was shown that the interstitial Ag ion migrated via a combination of 2 types of interstitialcy jump: with an activation energy of 0.008eV for the co-linear jump, and 0.13eV for the non co-linear jump.
