The electrochemical reduction of NbCl5, in compositions ranging from a NaCl-saturated melt (about 50mol%) to a 63mol% AlCl3 melt, was investigated by means of chronoamperometry, linear sweep voltammetry, chronopotentiometry and differential pulse polarography. The results were used to deduce the diffusion coefficient of NbV in the NaCl-saturated melt (table 61).
