An investigation was made of grain boundary migration in slightly rolled (less than 1.3%) bicrystals of the pure metal. It was found that the grain boundary mobility decreased markedly with increasing deformation of pure tilt boundaries. In the case of non-tilt boundaries, there was no difference in the boundary mobility in deformed and non-deformed bicrystals.
