The 3-dimensional atom probe method, combined with field ion microscopy, was used to study nanoscale B segregation to dislocations in B2-ordered FeAl (40at%Al). A B-rich Cottrell atmosphere, near to a (100) edge dislocation, was imaged at atomic resolution and its chemical composition was analysed at the local scale.
