Anomalies were found in the compositional dependences of the critical stresses for the catastrophic shear of Fe100-xBx, Fe80NixB20 and Fe85-xCoxB15 amorphous alloys. A minimum value corresponded to the eutectic point (x = 17) in the Fe-B system, to x = 40 in the Fe-Ni-B system and to x = 40 and x = 21 in the Fe-C-B system. The consideration of mobile dislocations in amorphous alloys which were located at boundaries between nanoclusters made it possible to explain and predict the anomalous (non-monotonic) compositional dependences of the mechanical properties of an amorphous alloy.
