Radiotracer 53Cr diffusion experiments were performed on ferritic and austenitic steels with 9 to 20wt%Cr. Volume diffusion coefficients were determined at 881 to 1281K, and triple product values for grain boundary diffusion were determined at 795 to 1281K. High ratios of grain boundary to volume diffusion activation energy were obtained, as compared with dilute solid solutions.
