Interactions between an extended super-dislocation in an ordered structure, and an antiphase domain boundary, were analyzed. In contrast to previous treatments, account was taken here of the effects of the small strip of perfect crystal within an extended dislocation straddling an antiphase domain boundary and of the ledge in an antiphase domain boundary which was cut by a dislocation. The concept of an antiphase domain boundary thickness was also reconsidered. The new analysis led to a more marked variation, of the super-partial separation with domain size, than had previously been calculated and also predicted a variation in the yield stress with domain size which was in better agreement with experiment than were previous calculations.
