The effect of vacancy processes upon the dislocation structure, when a longitudinal standing wave arose in a metallic sample, was analyzed. The process of edge-dislocation creep was considered. The results indicated a considerable increase in the dislocation density close to the antinodes of the standing wave, and the appearance of additional stresses in this region.
