Serial sectioning and spectrophotometric analysis were used to study the diffusion of Li in high-purity single crystals. The results (table 84), for temperatures ranging from 553 and 717C, could be described by:

D (cm2/s) = 46.5 exp[-1.60(eV)/kT]
