The lithium orthoberyllate was shown to have a pseudo-cubic structure (a = 0.8834, b = 0.8977, c = 0.9125nm). The highest conductivity (0.0022S/cm) in the present system was attained at 70mol%Li5AlO4 and 550C. The electronic contribution was no higher than 0.1%.
