The structure and 920K conductivity of LiMnxFe1-xO2 and Li1-yMnyFeO2, where x and y both ranged from 0 to 1, were studied before and after soaking in (Li0.62K0.38)2CO3. The highest conductivity (32S/cm) was found for Li0.2Mn0.8FeO2.67. Soaking in the carbonate melt converted all of the (Li,Mn)FeO2 samples into rocksalt solid solutions and reduced their conductivity.
