Single crystals of perovskite-type compounds in the system, Lix(W1-yNby)O3 (where x was approximately equal to 0.4 and y ranged from 0 to 0.15), were prepared via the electrolysis of fused salts. The Li-ion conductivity was measured by using a direct-current method and electron-blocking electrodes. A sample with x = 0.4 and y = 0.06 exhibited a conductivity of 1.0 x 10-7S/cm along [100] at room temperature.
