Conduction in the system PbCl2(1-x)Ox, where x ranged from 0 to 0.67, was studied in air below 400C. It was found that the 3PbCl2•2PbO phase exhibited a high conductivity. Chloride-ion conduction in this compound was confirmed by changes in the current, mass and phases during electrolytic polarization.
