Single crystals were studied by using impedance spectroscopic, differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction methods. It was found that the ionic (Li+) conductivity approached 0.001S/cm at 250C. The activation energy for conduction was 0.30eV. A sharp change in conductivity above 250C corresponded to an α-to-γ transformation.
