Single crystals of Li1.8(In0.55Zr0.45)2(PO4)3 and Li3(In1-xScx)2(PO4)3, where x was 0.67 or 0.73, were grown by using a flux method. The crystal structure of the former material was found to be similar to that of the high-temperature γ-phase of Li3Sc2(PO4)3. However, Li ions were located on only one of the 3 possible sites. The ionic conductivity of Li3(In0.55Sc0.45)2(PO4)3 was measured in directions perpendicular to, and parallel to, the a-axis. A relatively large anisotropic conductivity was detected.
