The types of dislocation which usually occurred in this superconductor were investigated. Dislocations which were of both basal and non-basal types were observed. At a spatial resolution of 2nm, no dissociation of the basal dislocations into Shockley partials was observed. The dislocation shapes were irregular, although many dislocation segments were fairly straight. The core structure of the non-basal dislocations, with b = [00▪1] were also observed by means of high-resolution electron microscopy. A step-like structure was suggested for this sessile dislocation.
