Thermal desorption spectra were measured in electrodeposited samples and in those heat-treated under high H pressures and high temperatures. Major desorption peaks observed in the 2 groups of samples agreed reasonably with each other, from which it was concluded that a large number of vacancy–H clusters was incorporated during electrodeposition.
