In order to check reports of an unexpected dispersion of noble metals in Fe40Ni38Mo4B18 glasses, the diffusion behaviour of 110mAg was studied by using the radio-tracer technique. It was found that the Ag did not yield a clear penetration profile under high vacuum; thus confirming the crucial role played by the annealing atmosphere.
