Using an isotope-exchange method, studies were made of the self-diffusion of 36Cl ions in powdery crystals at temperatures ranging from 200 to 420C. The activation energy for self-diffusion was found to be equal to 0.95eV at 200 to 330C, and to 1.6eV at 330 to 420C.
