Following a previously developed twin-spin model description of the equilibrium properties of the O/W(110) system, its collective diffusion was study here by means of a Monte Carlo dynamics. It was shown that the collective diffusion coefficient for the present model had a different density dependence to that deduced from other published models. The essential feature of the model, responsible for its different dynamics, were the state-dependent interactions. Further assumptions concerning interaction dependent barriers made the results comparable to experimental data.
