The diffusivity of 88Y3+ was studied (table 154). Theoretical equations for transport processes, in alkali halides doped with a trivalent cation, were derived from the theory of crystals doped with divalent cations. The jump frequency of Y3+ was given by f(/s) = 1.37 x 1013exp[-0.98(eV)/kT].
