Simultaneous measurements of anion self-diffusion and ionic conductivity were performed on pure single crystals, at 440 to 630C, using 36Cl tracers and microtome sectioning. The results (table 176) suggested that Frenkel defects predominated in the anion sub-lattice, with an enthalpy and entropy of formation of 2.98eV and 22k, respectively.
