A microprobe study of interdiffusion in the BaF2-SrF2 system was carried out, at temperatures of between 1033 and 1238C, using single crystals. The interdiffusion coefficient generally decreased with increasing SrF2 concentration, but the compositional dependence decreased with decreasing temperature (table 179).
