The interaction of a straight screw dislocation and the free surface of an infinitely long piezoelectric cylinder with the poling direction as the generator of this cylinder was analyzed. The dislocation line was oriented in the poling direction. By using the conformal mapping method, the expressions for the electric and elastic fields were given in terms of an appropriate conformal mapping and the image force exerted on the screw dislocation was determined. Some illustrative examples were given.
