The electromigration of H vacancies in YH3-δ was studied by using simple optical techniques. The results were analyzed by solving a linearized partial differential equation that described the process. Good agreement between experimental curves and analytical

solutions was found. The results implied that the electromigration of H was dominated by a large wind-force like term.
