Amplitude-independent dislocation absorption (internal friction) was investigated under the joint action of constant and random external forces. The actions of random forces of various types were considered with regard to the inertial properties of the dislocation and to the effect of the internal (parabolic) potential relief of the crystal. The dependence of internal friction upon the degree of correlation of random forces and the parameters of the dislocation and medium was obtained.
