The spin-flip scattering of conduction electrons by dislocations, in metals with strong spin-orbit coupling, was considered. Calculations were performed in terms of a model spin-orbit potential which described the spin-flip scattering of conduction electrons. It was shown that deformation of the crystal lattice led to a change in the structure factor. The core of a rectilinear edge dislocation was calculated by using the molecular dynamics method.
