The elasticity problem, of a transformed inclusion constrained in an infinite matrix, was solved by considering a dislocation cage made of uniformly stacked dislocation loops. The displacement, strain and stress were found by using Burgers’ equation; directly yielding the Eshelby tensor. The model provided an alternative physical picture and solution of the transformed inclusion problem, and compared directly with transformations that were produced by a dislocation mechanism.
