Electron paramagnetic resonance and electron-nuclear double-resonance research at 9.5 and 34GHz had demonstrated that 2 types of [RhCl6]4– complex could co-exist in AgCl crystals; depending upon the crystal growth method and the sample pre-treatment. Based upon these results, temperature-induced changes to the electron paramagnetic resonance spectrum of Rh2+-doped AgCl single crystals could be explained by differences in the dynamic behaviors of the 2 complexes.
