Film samples were prepared at room temperature by using various techniques. An expansion of the band-gap energy was observed in thin films which were prepared by using pulse laser deposition techniques. Various luminescence centers were identified in the films, and various mechanisms were proposed for cathodoluminescence at the divers centers.
