Glassy compounds in the AgI-40[xAg2O-(1-x)(0.5B2O3+0.5MoO3)] system were prepared by melt-quenching. It was found that the maximum conductivity was equal to 0.0442S/cm at 305K, and that the conductivity was a non-linear function of the ratio of the glass-modifier to the glass-former. The transport number of Ag ions was found to be almost equal to unity.
