Conductivity, and conductivity relaxation, were studied in the ZrF4-20BaF2-10YF3-(30-x)LiF-xNaF system (x = 0 to 30). A mixed mobile ion effect was observed. By using a modulus formalism, it was shown that the conductivity relaxation also exhibited a mixed mobile ion effect, as did the direct-current conductivity. It was noted that the relaxation mechanism was independent of temperature, but depended upon the composition.
