The conductivity of (AgI)0.55(Ag2S)0.30(HgI2)0.15 was studied at temperatures ranging from 10 to 100C. The room-temperature conductivity was equal to 0.168S/cm, and the activation energy was equal to 0.24eV. The relationship between the thermoelectric power and the absolute temperature yielded a heat of transport of 0.20eV. This was very close to the activation energy (0.24eV). This was possible only if the material had a disordered structure.
