The mobility of individual triple junctions was studied. Triple junctions with <111>, <100> and <110> tilt boundaries were studied. The results showed that, at low temperatures, the mobility of a system of grain boundaries with a triple junction was controlled by the mobility of the triple junction (junction kinetics). At high temperatures, the system mobility was governed by the mobility of the grain boundaries (boundary kinetics). There was a critical temperature at which the transition from junction kinetics to boundary kinetics occurred. This temperature was determined by the crystallographic parameters of the sample.
