Features of the surface morphology and dislocation structure of [¯155] co-planar double-slip oriented single crystals under cyclic deformation at a constant plastic shear strain amplitude of 2 x 10−3 were studied by using optical microscopy and electron channelling contrast imaging in a scanning electron microscope. The results showed that 2 sets of the secondary type of deformation band formed in the specimen. The geometrical relationship between the 2 sets of deformation bands, and the slip band, was found. The habit planes of the secondary-type deformation bands were close to (¯101) and (¯110) planes, respectively. The surface dislocation structures in the specimen included veins, irregular dislocation cells and dislocation walls. The typical structure in the secondary-type deformation band was a dislocation wall.
