It was noted that the density distribution of dislocations in corrosion-resistant steels depended upon the type of functional relationship between the yield strength and the dislocation density. For a linear model of hardening, it was a normal distribution. For a parabolic model, it was a Weibull-type law with a singularity in the region of low dislocation density. The distributions which were obtained for high values of dislocation density were insignificantly different.
