Dislocation internal friction, under random external forces acting upon a dislocation, was investigated. Various types of random force (telegraph, impulse, etc.) were considered. The inertial properties of the dislocation and the effects of potential (parabolic) crystal relief were taken into account. Analytical expressions were derived for the decrement, and its dependence upon the degree of correlation of the random force, dislocation and medium parameters was analyzed.
